Reeves Eye Institute will host a free educational seminar on Thursday Night, November 19th at 6:00PM. Dr. Donny Reeves will introduce KAMRA, the latest form of vision correction designed for persons who wear reading glasses.
The seminar will also cover LASIK vision correction and lifestyle lenses for cataracts.
KAMRA is a new procedure for presbyopia, or loss of near vision. To read something, people with presbyopia have to hold it farther away than normal, or reach for reading glasses. The lens in the eye loses its ability to adjust as we age, resulting in loss of near vision.
Most people adapt to this by using reading glasses or getting bifocals if they wear glasses every day. However, with the KAMRA Lens Inlay, people can reduce or eliminate their need for readers. Read more here.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
The seminar will be held at Reeves Eye Institute, 2328 Knob Creek Road, Johnson City, TN 37604
